Glass Ceilings explores colonialism and the lasting impacts of empire through intense, abstracted images of plants growing to fill vast Victorian greenhouses. Each plant pushes and bends against glass walls and wrought iron frames, selected for display in climes far colder than their origin and cut back when they become too large and 'unmanageable'.
